Sagit holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from New York University, a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the New School University in New York and a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, at Los Angeles.
Her prior clinical experiences include an internship at the Hollywood Sunset Counseling Center, where she successfully treated a wide range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She dealt with a diverse set of life challenges, including relationship difficulties, bereavement, family of origin issues including adult survivors of child abuse, parental psycho-education, adolescent coming out process and child play therapy. She practiced psychotherapy with a multicultural population utilizing her Spanish fluency in the context of a therapeutic environment.
She then went on to work at Cheerful Helpers Therapeutic Preschool, formerly part of Cedar-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, where she assisted in the treatment of children whose diagnoses included autism, aspergers, attachment disorders, developmental delays, and processing, learning and emotional difficulties, in the context of a classroom setting.
She is currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, IMF# 58000, and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She practices psychotherapy in Beverly Hills under the supervision of Thomas J. Parisi, Ph.D, M.F.T., MFC 44338. Her specialties include the treatment of anxiety, self-esteem struggles and relationship difficulties.
